Our practice policy is to help you maintain a healthy oral environment including teeth, gums and all other oral soft tissues. To obtain successful results we need your cooperation. Therefore we will strive to clearly inform you of your oral health so you can participate in the creation and maintenance of a healthy smile.
When you arrive for your appointment you will be asked to complete a medical history form and sign an NHS registration form. During your first visit a thorough examination will be carried out and x-rays taken. This will help us diagnose any existing problems. If further treatment is required you will be provided with a treatment plan and an estimate of your fees.
The treatment needed will be provided in as few well planned appointments as necessary to restore optimum oral health. We appreciate the value of your time and we know the importance of a well controlled budget. We request from you equal consideration in keeping appointments on time and meeting the agreed financial arrangements. If it is necessary to reschedule an appointment please extend us 24 hours notice. We normally charge £15 every 15 minutes for a short notice cancellation.
Once treatment is completed regular check up appointments are essential to prevent any further problems arising. Examinations are carried out every 6 months.
For your protection our practice follows all cross infection control guidelines of the British Dental Association and RQIA. These include the wearing of fresh gloves for each patient, the complete disinfection of treatment rooms between patients and sterilization of all instruments. In addition all staff members attend regular education courses on infection control procedures.
We are looking forward to a relaxed and pleasant visit with you. Thank you again for choosing Ormeau Dental Care to provide your dental care.
